DREAM WORKSHOP AT SSRVM SCHOOL, BANGALORE

Dream workshop was conducted at SSRVM school, Bangalore from 8th November to 18th November 2011. Fifty students participated in two batches.

Few of the feedbacks received from the parents are presented below;

"My son master S.J.Hemanth initially refused to attend the workshop. After attending this, he is feeling more confident. I had a day to day briefings from him about the seminar in an enthusiastic way."
- Dr.R.Senthilkumar

"Firstly, I would like to thank the school(SSRVM) in general and Mr.Sarode in particular for educating children by boosting their confidence.
This course in particular makes them 'self introspect' within themselves their hidden talents, confidence and their latent abilities.
The anecdotes and examples quoted throughout the sessions should remind them of their duties and responsibilities.
Infact it was happy to note that everyday my child would come out to express everything about the workshop, which in turn made us feel that there will be changes, for better, in a child's attitude.
Everything from using the monetary resources, respecting elders, maintaining friends, honing their communicative skills are blended well at the right time of their growth.
The onus is on the children and parents to create such an environment to keep them reminding of their duties and what they learnt at this workshop so that it doesn't go into thin air!
Thank you."
- Ms. Meera Rao.

"My daughter has enjoyed the workshop immensely. She seems to have learnt the importance and need to be self confident, overcome fear, effectively communicate with others and to be helpful. She has through this workshop been initiated to the world of nurturing dreams and to work sincerely towards making it fruitful."
- Mr. Sudhindra Holla & Ms.Anupama Holla.

Dream workshop as school curriculum

We are witnessing the degradation of ethical and moral value these days, highlighted by conviction of many high profile and “successful” people across the globe.

So, it is very important to ingrain the true meaning of being success in life in the minds of teenage students. In this direction, I have developed a five day workshop called “Dream Workshop” which helps the teenage students overall personality development.

Schools play an important role in the life of students and by incorporating Dream   workshop as a part of curriculum,  they can really become engines of positive change.

SYNOPSIS

A child will be living in a dreamy world once it enters the teenage. The teenage is a bridge between adolescent and adulthood. So, stepping into teenage leaving behind the adolescent years and continuing the life journey towards adulthood poses a lot of challenge to the child, parents as well as teachers.

The personality of the child gets crystallised during teenage. Therefore proper guidance will go a long way in moulding the personality of the child.

It is very common that parents and teachers notice a major shift in the attitude and behaviour of the children studying in 6th and 7th standard.
As mentioned earlier teenagers are in their own dreamy world and hence many a time they are unable to relate to the reality around them. The handling of relationships with parents, peers, teachers and others, difference between confidence and arrogance, balancing of academics and other interests will take a heavy toll on the mind of teenager leading to stress and other behavioural complications.

The Dream Workshop will address these issues in a unique interactive way and kindles an awareness of how to dream more and more and make each one of them real for sure. Teenagers will be given the seed of understanding that they are all extraordinary persons and also the knowledge of nourishing and growing it into a big tree.

The Dream Workshop is designed to help transform adorable adolescents to lovable teens and finally into responsible adults. This very much helps them to achieve success ethically and maintaining social responsibility.

The Dream Workshop is conducted for a group of twenty to thirty children and the duration is three hours each for five days
